资源简介:
Datasets correspond to the numerical model results and experimental data from the research paper:
T. Lafleur and P. Chabert, "Similarity Parameters and Scaling Laws", Plasma Sources Science and Technology (2025), https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1088/1361-6595/add562
The file "rate_coefficients.xlsx" provides the computed rate coefficient data as a function of electron temperature, T_e, used for the propellants xenon (Xe), krypton (Kr), and argon (Ar). Each column in the file is labelled according to a specific variable of interest, which includes the ionization rate coefficient K_iz, the momentum transfer rate coefficient, K_m, and the average collisional energy loss, varepsilon_c.
The file "experimental_data.xlsx" summarizes experimental data taken from the literature for xenon and krypton, and which is used for validation of the numerical model. The data has been taken from the following references:
J. M. Sankovic, J. A. Hamley, and T. W. Haag, "Performance evaluation of the russian spt-100 thruster at nasa lerc", in IEPC Conference, IEPC-93-094 (1994).
M.R. Nakles, W.A. Hargus Jr, J.J. Delgado, and R.L. Corey, "A performance comparison of xenon and krypton propellant on an spt-100 hall thruster", in IEPC Conference, IEPC-2011-003 (2011).
The file "model_validation_data.xlsx" provides the numerical model results for the relevant propellant and fixed operating condition given in the sheet name. The columns correspond to a specific relevant variable, such as thrust.
The files "xenon_lambda_0_6.xlsx", "xenon_lambda_1.xlsx", and "xenon_lambda_1_8.xlsx" correspond to model results performed with the similarity parameter lambda = 0.6, lambda = 1, or lambda = 1.8 respectively. Each sheet corresponds to a specific variable calculated on a 2D "grid" associated with different values of the similarity parameters alpha and beta. The sheet labels note the propellant (xenon in this case) as well as the quantity shown, such as the specific impulse (Isp) at a given value of the normalized discharge current (i.e. Id_bar).
The file "propellants_lambda_1.xlsx" is similar to the above files for xenon, but instead provide data for xenon, krypton, and argon at lambda = 1 and for Id_bar = 1.2 or Id_bar = 1.4.
