Supplement to the Oil and Gas Extraction Data in OGIM

This dataset builds upon Oil and Gas Infrastructure Mapping (OGIM) Database, from EDF and MethaneSAT, LLC. (https://zenodo.org/records/13259749). We appended state-level and province-level data with dates (spud, completion, permit, etc.) to anchor each OGIM observation to a time at which a well might have started producing hazards. This change enables more accurate exposure assessment for public health research in the United States and Canada by ensuring that the data has complete records of both space (latitude and longitude) and time (dates).
