Rhesus macaque BCR repertoire sequencing by 5-prime RACE

Mature follicular B cells were sorted by flow cytometry from eight outbred rhesus macaques. BCR repertoire sequencing (Rep-Seq) was performed using 5-prime RACE (rapid amplification of cDNA ends) libraries prepared based on SMART technology to obtain full-length 5-prime UTR and leader region sequences of IGHV, IGKV and IGLV repertoires. The purpose of these data was to guide the design of multiplex primer sets targeting the 5-prime UTR and leader regions. The multiplex primer sets can then be applied in further BCR Rep-Seq to obtain full-length V(D)J sequences.
