Whole genome sequencing of the grey mullet, Mugil cephalus

The grey mullet is a food fish species in the family Mugilidae. The fish is found in tropical, temperate and sub-tropical coastal waters. At present, the complete genome sequence of grey mullet is not available. This bioproject consists of the high-throughput sequence data, generated and used in the assembly and annotation of grey mullet genome.
