The dataset C2lakeTS contains water-level time series based on observations from the radar satellite altimetry mission CryoSat-2. The water level time series is reconstructed via a state-space model in which the observations are assumed to follow a mixture of Normal and Cauchy distributions, and the underlying process that accounts for temporal correlation is an autoregressive process of order 1 (AR1).
