The airflow control valve functions as the control device for aeration processes. Its ability to linearly control flow and its structure directly impact the energy consumption, response speed, control accuracy, and reliability of the aeration system. To enhance the linearity and stability of valve flow control and thereby improve its energy-saving effect, this study conducts structural optimization and linear optimization of flow characteristics for an airflow control valve based on the venturi principle using finite element simulation analysis. In the first half of this paper, the valve’s optimized structural parameters that effectively reduce fluid energy consumption are determined through analysis of individual structural parameters using orthogonal simulation. And in the second half , this paper corrects the contour of the spool using a interpolation method and verifies the linearity of flow control under various conditions.
