The goal of this experiment was to identify genes which are differentially regulated between Leishmania major- infected granuloma macrophages from mice resistant (C57 Bl/6) and susceptible (BALB/c) to experimental leishmaniasis Overall design: There are four groups of triplicates: uninfected control samples of murine granuloma macrophages of C57BL/6 (resistant) and BALB/c (susceptible) origin and samples of granuloma macrophages infected with a 5x MOI of metacyclical Leishmania major.
