Metabacillus halosaccharovorans strain:Hao 2024 Genome sequencing

The strain was collected from abalone culture base in Rongcheng sea area of Shandong Province, China. After optimization of fermentation conditions, the yield of extracellular polysaccharide was 2.34g/L. The aim of whole genome sequencing is to obtain the genetic background information of the bacterium and facilitate further research on the key genes in the sugar metabolism pathway of the bacterium. The functional elements of the bacterium are further obtained for analysis, sub-system analysis and functional annotation of protein coding genes, and high-value polysaccharides are efficiently synthesized in a modular mode through metabolic engineering transformation for medical treatment and other industries.
