From Food to Future: Household Education Spending under a School Feeding Program in Rural China

This folder contains a demonstration sample and replication code for the school meal reform study. The sample keeps only variables used in the code, replaces real identifiers with sequential fake IDs (still usable for fixed effects), and is drawn via stratified random sampling. Results from this package are illustrative only and do not match the paper’s official estimates. Full replication requires authorized access to the complete restricted microdata, which cannot be publicly shared due to respondent confidentiality.
