资源简介:
Evaluating the magnitude of the rearfoot eversion moment, which influences rearfoot eversion motion during walking, is crucial for preventing lower limb and lower back injuries. This study aimed to determine whether the magnitude of the rearfoot eversion moment during the support phase of walking can be estimated based on foot conditions in a standing position. A motion capture system and a force platform were used to collect data on the center of the ankle joint position, longitudinal foot axis orientation, and ground reaction force during both standing and the support phase of walking in 43 healthy adult males. The study examined the relationship between the lateral distance from the ankle joint center to the center of pressure during standing and the magnitude of the rearfoot eversion moment during the support phase of walking. A significant correlation was observed between the lateral distance from the ankle joint center to the center of pressure during standing and the peak rearfoot eversion moment during the support phase of walking. These findings suggest that the rearfoot eversion moment during walking may be estimated using standing data. This could facilitate a simple evaluation method for injury prevention in clinical practice.
