1)本数据集包含青藏高原地区1979~2022年间的近地表冻融状态信息,空间分辨率为3.125km。2)数据集采用了SMMR(1979-1987)、SSM/I(1988-2008)和SSMIS(2009-2022)长时间序列微波辐射计亮温观测值,生成过程中综合利用了冻土和融土在物理温度、发射率和体散射方面的亮温差异。3)经与大量地面气象站点数据进行对比验证,算法的总体判对率达到了84.5%。4)基于该算法所生成的长时序(1979~2022年)地表冻融数据集进行分析发现,该数据集能够较好的反映青藏高原地区的气候变化趋势,可服务于碳水循环等研究领域。
1) This dataset contains near-surface freeze-thaw state information for the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau from 1979 to 2022, with a spatial resolution of 3.125 km.
2) This dataset employs long-time series microwave radiometer brightness temperature observations from SMMR (1979–1987), SSM/I (1988–2008), and SSMIS (2009–2022). During the generation process, the brightness temperature differences between frozen and unfrozen soils in terms of physical temperature, emissivity, and volume scattering were comprehensively utilized.
3) Validated against extensive ground meteorological station datasets, the overall classification accuracy of the algorithm reached 84.5%.
4) Analyses based on the long-time series (1979–2022) surface freeze-thaw dataset generated by this algorithm demonstrate that this dataset can effectively reflect the climate change trends over the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and can be applied to research fields such as the carbon-water cycle.
