Neuroprotective Nature of Environmental Enrichment Exposure in Diabetic and Diabetic stressed rats

This study aimed to investigate the effects of environmental enrichment (EE) and metformin on metabolic dysfunctions, hippocampal neuronal death, hippocampal-dependent memory impairments, and BDNF-TrkB signalling pathways in HFS diet-induced T2D rats. This study also aimed to investigate the effects of EE and the combined interventions of EE and metformin on metabolic dysfunctions, hippocampal neuronal death, hippocampal-dependent memory impairments, and BDNF-TrkB signalling pathways in stressed HFS diet-induced T2D rats.
