Humanized PRMT1 network in heart and kidney during LPS-induced inflammation

PRMT1 is a key enzyme responsible for protein arginine methylation. Only a single amino acid substitution at position 179 exists between mice (histidine) and humans (tyrosine). Here, we have generated a humanized PRMT1 mouse model (huMice) in which the amino acid sequence of mouse PRMT1 is replaced with the human form. We performed bulk RNA-seq on heart and kidney tissues that were induced to inflammation by lipopolysaccharide.
