Supplementary Material - A Thousand Meters Deep: Vertical Profiling of the Subterranean Microbiome of Gourgouthakas Cave

Here we deposited the supplementary material of our work on the microbial isolates from Gourgouthakas cave (-1100 m depth). We isolated a total of 820 isolates from nine solid samples from the rock surface as shown in Figure 1 (see also supplementary material). We obtained the highest number of isolates on R2A (363 isolates), followed by NA1/2 (218), NA (137), and MNFMM (101).
