资源简介:
This dataset comprises data from a systematic review done after a comprehensive literature search using Scopus, Web of Science and Google Scholar for peer-reviewed publications up to early 2020 that reported on cereal-cowpea intercropping systems that were reported in sub-Saharan Africa, excluding South Africa. More specifically, maize-cowpea, sorghum-cowpea and millet-cowpea intercropping systems are considered here. Data from 60 unique publications that assessed the effect of cereal-cowpea intercropping systems on crop productivity and biological N2-fixation are presented here. 55 papers focused on cereal-cowpea productivity only whilst 4 papers reported both productivity and N2-fixation. One article reported on N2-fixation of cereal-cowpea intercrops without productivity.
