Analysis of grobal mRNA expression in neuronal precursor cells derived from hiPSCs treated with DMSO or jiadifenolide

Jiadifenolide have been reported to neurotrophin-like activity in primary rat cortical neurons, and also possesses neurotrophic effects in neuronal precursor cells derived from human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) as previously reported us. However, it is unknown on molecular mechanisms of neurotrophic effects in rat and human neurons by jiadifenolide. Thus, we aimed to investigate molecular mechanisms and pathways on neurotrophic effects by jiadifenolide. We performed the next-generation sequencing analysis of transcriptome in neuronal precursor cells derived from hiPSCs line 201B7 treated with jiadifenolide for twenty-three days of incubation, and then these data are used for molecular network analysis by KeyMolnet software. The goal of project is to elucidate the underlying molecular mechanisms on neurotrophic effects by jiadifenolide.
