The file includes the trial protocols related to the test cases used in "Finding the best match: a ranking procedure of fish species combinations for polyculture development". <br> In the test case 1, three polycultures ([<strong>SC</strong>] Pikeperch <em>Sander lucioperca</em>, Common carp <em>Cyprinus carpio,</em> [<strong>SM</strong>] Pikeperch, Black-bass <em>Micropterus salmoides</em> and [<strong>SCP</strong>] Pikeperch, Common carp, European-perch) were considered. <br> In the test case 2, two polycultures ([<strong>CRG</strong>] Goldfish <em>Carassius auratus</em>, Roach <em>Rutilus rutilus</em>, Ruffe <em>Gymnocephalus cernua </em>and [<strong>CRP</strong>] Goldfish, Roach, European-perch) were considered. <br> In the test case 3, three polycultures ([<strong>PT</strong>] Pikeperch, Tench <em>Tinca tinca, </em>[<strong>PS</strong>] Pikeperch, Sterlet <em>Acipenser ruthenus</em> and [<strong>PST</strong>] Pikeperch, Sterlet, tench) were considered.
