Behavioral Comorbidities Treatment by Fecal Microbiota Transplantation in Canine Epilepsy: A Pilot Study of a Novel Therapeutic Approach

Fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) is a procedure used to modify the composition of the gastrointestinal microbiota (GIM). It has been shown in rodent models that behavioral features can be modulated by FMT. In this study, we investigated the beneficial effects of FMT on behavioral comorbidities in a translational model of canine epilepsy.
