RNA-Seq data after portal vein ligation in rats

This study contains RNA-Seq data from 18 male Sprague-Dawley rats. Two rats are healthy control samples (control), eight rats underwent a portal vein ligation (PVL), and eight rats underwent a sham surgery (sham). From the surgered animals half of the animals were sacrificed two days (2d) the other half five days (5d) after the surgery. From all animals samples were taken from both left median liver lober (LML - ligated during PVL) and right median liver lobe (RML - not ligated during PVL). 32 samples resulting from PVL and sham surgery were sequenced on a NovaSeq6000 run yielding paired 251 bp reads. Additionally, 20 samples resulting from PVL surgery and control animals were sequenced on a NovaSeq6000 run yielding paired 51 bp reads.
