To determine how ARID1A loss might regulate genes that were preferentially regulated on the gene expression level, we performed an assay for transposase accessible chromatin with high-throughput sequencing (ATAC-seq) on islets isolated from control and Arid1a ß-cell knockout (ßKO) mice at baseline and 6 days after 50% pancreatectomy (PPx). Overall design: In vivo ATAC-Seq on islets isolated from 3 months old male control and Arid1a ßKO mice at baseline and 6 days after PPx (Pre-PPx: 4 Arid1aFl/Fl; MIP-rtTA control and 3 Arid1aFl/Fl; MIP-rtTA; TRE-Cre mice, Post-PPx: 4 Arid1aFl/Fl; MIP-rtTA control and 4 Arid1aFl/Fl; MIP-rtTA; TRE-Cre mice, all males)
