Whole Exome Sequencing of Ovarian Cancer Tumors Differing in Resistance to Platinum Derivatives

Somatic mutation spectra covering the whole exome were analyzed in 50 surgically resected ovarian carcinoma patients with known platinum resistance status and complete follow up. Study aimed to characterize somatic mutational spectra, signatures, and copy number variations of resistant compared to sensitive patients and high grade serous carcinomas compared with other tumor subtypes.
