To better mimic recent significant improvements in glycemic control and therapeutic options for diabetic patients, we refined a diabetic mouse model to investigate the effects of adequately managed maternal glycemic levels on oocytes and uterine development. We extracted and sequenced the RNA abundance from placenta samples, and the RNA abundance and DNA accessibility from oocytes collected from the adequately managed diabetic mice and control mice.
