Metagenome-assembled genomes of bumble bee gut microbiotas from commercial and wild populations. insect gut metagenome

We generated metagenome-assembled genomes from the gut microbiotas of two commercial Bombus impatiens suppliers as well as wild B. impatiens, B. rufocinctus, B. ternarius, and B vagans. We then compared phylotype-level diversity, MAG-level diversity, and whole-community metabolic potential of gut microbiotas between these groups.
