Transcriptomic profiling of cardiac resident macrophages upon high-fat diet or with aging

Cardiac resident macrophages (CRM) are essential for cardiac homeostais and physiological/pathological responses. CRM of high-fat diet fed mice or aged mice were sorted by FACS and subjected to SMART-seq. CRM were sorted from the hearts of control, aged or high-fat diet fed mice ( n = 3 ea.) . More than 5000 cells from each sample (murine heart) were used to extract total RNA and SMART-seq assay.
