Genome assembly of autotetraploid <i>Medicago sativa</i> XinJiangDaYe

The gzipped FASTA file contains the genome assembly of autotetraploid Medicago sativa, which serves as the ground truth for validating HapHiC (https://github.com/zengxiaofei/HapHiC). This assembly was generated by eliminating obvious assembly errors in the published genome assembly of M. sativa XinJiangDaYe (Chen et al., 2020) using Juicebox. Due to the exclusion of numerous sequences, it is recommended to utilize this assembly solely for simulation tests.
