Soil health assessment and cover crops for the Holland Marsh: Cover crops after carrot and onion harvest

As part of the "Soil health assessment and cover crops for the Holland Marsh" thesis research, three different field experiments - seed priming and transplant, cover crop after carrot and cover crop after onions - were done to assess cover crop establishment to reduce soil loss by wind erosion in muck soils after onion or carrot harvest. Canopy coverage and above ground biomass of cover crops were assessed including plant counts.
