资源简介:
The study examined the effects of Cranial Electrical Stimulation (CES) on cognitive function in perimenopausal women. It involves a non-randomized experimental design with 30 participants (Active CES: n=23, Sham CES: n=7) who received CES for 30 minutes, four days a week, for four weeks. Cognitive function was assessed using the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) before and after the intervention. Both groups showed significant improvement in cognition, but there was no statistically significant difference between active and sham CES. The study concludes that while CES may enhance cognitive function, further research is needed to establish its distinct effects. No adverse events were reported.
