资源简介:
These data accompany the 2021 manuscript published in Ecological Applications titled "Rapid deforestation of a coastal landscape driven by sea level rise and extreme events". In this manuscript, researchers used the Landsat Image record to classify coastal vegetation and is changes from 1985-2019 in the Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge in North Carolina. <br>This specific dataset is a GeoTIFF file depicting the classified maps of the study region from 1985-2019. The GeoTiff contains 23 bands, corresponding to the years of analysis and 10 bands corresponding to environmental characteristics including the predictor variables elevation, distance to coast, distance to channel. The pixel values of the raster correspond to vegetation classifications {1 = pine, 2 = deciduous, 3 = marsh, 4 = ghost forest, 5 = shrub, 6 = burn, 7 = dry pine}. Refer to the publication for a description of how the images were classified.
