The area of supraglacial lake (SGL) on Greenland ice sheet over 2017-2022 melting season has been extracted from approximately 300,000 passive optical satellite images. Each time series consists of four columns of decimal time, standard date, SGL area, and the corresponding uncertainty, respectively. The SGL area was calculated based on the SGL occurrence grids, and a total of 3,006 grids with valid observations were obtained.
