资源简介:
This dataset includes high-resolution topography data and orthomosaics used to monitor surface change in two stream sites in Red Clover Valley, Plumas County, California. The first site is a segment of lower Dixie Creek (LDC), which accumulates flows from Dixie Mountain and drains into Red Clover Creek. The second site is an intermittent stream referred to as Subchannel B (SCB), which accumulates flows from Horton Canyon and drains into Red Clover Creek. Both stream channels are degraded and were the subject of process-based restoration strategies. Repeat unoccupied aerial system (UAS) surveys of the two sites were conducted during the summers between 2021 and 2023 using a DJI Phantom 4 Pro and a DJI Mavic 3 quadcopter, both equipped with RGB cameras. The LDC surveys were collected in 2022 and 2023, while the SCB surveys occurred in 2021, 2022, and 2023. The data release includes several datasets generated from these surveys, including digital elevation models (DEMs) and DEM of Difference (DoD) results, such as the raw and error thresholded outputs for each change detection. Additional datasets include shapefiles representing stream bank full widths, in-channel surface vegetation and water cover, and classified geomorphic units, along with high-resolution (~0.01 m) 3-band (RGB) raster composites used to extract surface features and validate change detection results. The original point cloud data is available upon request. For further details, see LeBeau et al. (2025).
