Provided are sequences for Drosophila melanogaster individuals that are the product of spontaneous meiotic nondisjunction of the metacentric chromosome 2. Oregon R/w1118 females were mated to males with a compound second chromosome (C(2)EN, b pr) to isolate progeny exclusively from nondisjunctional oogenesis. These progeny were backcrossed to w1118 to obtain more genetic material. Each barcoded sample contains genomic DNA from pooled adult offspring of individual backcrossed males. The goal of this experiment was to identify the erroneous division (meiosis I or II) and map crossovers to determine if and how crossover landscape is altered in chromosome 2 nondisjunctional meioses.
