Simulated lobster-eye soft X-ray image dataset for magnetopause boundary detection based on depth image prior model

This dataset contains representative magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) simulation images under different solar wind number densities (e.g., N = 10, 15, 20 cm⁻³), along with corresponding imaging data. Specifically, it includes typical MHD images, 300 s exposure Soft X-ray Imager (SXI) simulated observations, images after vignetting correction, filtered images, and results processed using the Deep Image Prior (DIP) method. The dataset is intended to support research on soft X-ray imaging of the Earth’s magnetosphere, including image processing, inversion, and analysis studies.
