Endometrial cancer cell line with acquired resistance to medroxyprogesterone acetate

To investigate progestin resistance in endometrial cancer ,we examined the changes in gene expression before and after development of acquired MPA resistance. Results provide insight into molecular mechanisms of acquired resistance to MPA in endometrial cancer. Ishikawa and IshikawaPR cells were used for microarrays. IshikawaPR cell were newly established in our laboratory from Ishikawa cell as an acquired MPA resistant subline, which were established in the stimulation and selection of MPA for almost 10 months.
