"Washington Iron Foundry," Los Angeles, California, USA, 1914. The image shows a group of over 100 men, wearing convention ribbons on their jackets, standing in front of a one-story, cement-block structure, while an open car, with 1914 license plates, is parked to the left. There is a pennant on the car that reads "Eagle Rock," but there was a Washington Iron Foundary in downtown Los Angeles, located at Sacramento and Wilson streets, west of the Los Angeles River and north of today's Interstate 10. Backwards in white lettering on the bottom is "Washington Iron Foundry." With soiling, album paper residue on the reverse, and creasing, the overall condition is good.
