Data for: Investigation on the Influence of Process Parameters on the Pseudo Plastic Deformation Behavior of Staple Fiber Organic Sheets

This data set was generated at Leibniz-Institut für Verbundwerkstoffe GmbH in the project "Process analysis of the pseudo-plastic deformation behavior of unidirectional reinforced staple fiber organo sheets" is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) – funding reference 471480678. The objective of this work was to develop a test module for non-isothermal, temperature-controlled tensile testing using a high-speed tensile testing machine. The module enables an ideal laboratory simulation of the thermoforming process. The results were validated through additional thermoforming experiments. The data set comprises the determination of fiber mass content, the measurement of fiber orientation, the results of the non-isothermal tensile tests, the assessment of strain homogeneity during these tests and during thermoforming, as well as temperature measurements recorded throughout the thermoforming process.
