This dataset contains glacier distribution data for the Tomur Peak region in the Western Tianshan Mountains. It was primarily developed using field surveys of representative glaciers and regional satellite remote sensing data, and includes the exact locations and surface areas of all mapped glaciers. Following the final inspection and acceptance of the associated research project, the dataset will be shared through a formal agreement. This dataset enables precise analysis of glacier change characteristics and captures dynamic change processes, serving as a fundamental data resource for research on glacier responses to climate change and related simulation studies. The dataset is fully and openly shared.
