These volumes contain copies of reports and memoranda under blank cover to the Lands Department. The volumes contain (in most cases) copies of the Lands Department memoranda calling for information, and copies of the Surveyor General's replies thereto. The margins of the various volumes contain references to related correspondence of the Survey and Lands Departments.
