In 2019, the volume of natural ingredients used for cosmetics imported into the United Kingdom was highest for coconut, palm kernel and babassu oil. That year, it reached a volume of approximately 60 thousand metric tons. By comparison, vegetable saps and extracts had an import volume of nearly 35 thousand metric tons.
