Impacts of Climate Change on AgricultureProduction inLam Dong-Vietnam
收藏资源简介:
This dataset supports the published article:“Impacts of Climate Change on Agriculture Production in Lam Dong, Vietnam.” The dataset provides a comprehensive collection of climate, agricultural, and economic data for Lam Dong province (Central Highlands of Vietnam) over the period 1995–2025. It is designed to facilitate research on climate change impacts on highland agricultural systems, particularly for key crops such as tea, coffee, and vegetables. The dataset includes: Climate data: Annual temperature, rainfall, and number of dry days, reflecting long-term climate trends and variability. Crop yield data: Indexed yield changes for tea, coffee, and vegetables, enabling comparative analysis of productivity under climate stress. Rainfall trend analysis: Aggregated statistics on precipitation patterns and associated yield losses across different time periods. Economic loss data: Estimated annual financial losses (USD million) for major crops due to climate-related stressors such as heat, drought, pests, and disease. Vulnerability index data: A composite indicator combining climate variables and crop impacts to identify high-risk agricultural zones within Lam Dong. The data were compiled from multiple sources, including: Vietnam Meteorological and Hydrological Administration Lam Dong Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Field surveys involving 200 farmers GIS and remote sensing analysis Analytical methods used in the study include statistical regression, correlation analysis, and GIS-based spatial assessment. This dataset is intended for use by researchers, policymakers, and practitioners working on: Climate change adaptation in agriculture Tropical highland farming systems Crop yield modeling and forecasting GIS-based vulnerability assessment The dataset follows FAIR data principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) and is openly available under the CC-BY 4.0 license.
