Assembly and characterization of the first complete mitochondrial genome of Epimedium sagittatum (Berberidaceae):an invaluable traditional Chinese medicine

We assembled and annotated the mt genome of Epimedium sagittatum. Our findings provide extensive information regarding the mitochondrial genome of Epimedium sagittatum, and help lay the foundation for future studies on the genetic variations, phylogeny, and breeding of Epimedium sagittatum via an analysis of the mitochondrial genome.
