The dataset refers to the d18O values obtained from the Alto dell'Ortles cores #1,# 2 and #3, drilled on the Alto dell'Ortles glacier (3859 m a.s.l.) in South Tyrol, Italy, in September/October 2011 (Lat:46.51 N, Long: 10.54 E) Ice core 1 was analyzed in the frame work of the Giuliano Dreossi's PhD thesis carried out at Ca' Foscari University of Venice, Italy. Ice cores 2 and 3 were analyzed at the Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, USA.
