资源简介:
Epstein-barr virus (EBV) is a human herpes virus that latent infects about 95% of adults. Due to the narrow host range of EBV and the lack of suitable animal models, the study of the pathogenesis of EBV-related diseases has been hindered. Tree shrews are a new class of experimental animals that share a close phylogenetic relationship with primates, which is a key advantage for many animal models of human diseases, especially viral infections. In this study, we explored the transcriptome changes of Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) in tree shrews on days 7 and 28 after infection with EBV. The project also included immune organs from healthy adult tree shrews, including the spleen, tonsils, lymph nodes and thymus.
