PMV-PDD for Arabian Gulf Ensembles

This dataset contains MATLAB source codes used to generate all thermal comfort analyses and figures presented in the associated manuscript on gender-specific indoor thermal comfort zones for Arabian Gulf clothing ensembles. The scripts implement a PMV–PPD–based analytical framework following ISO 7730 and ASHRAE Standard 55, using experimentally measured clothing insulation values for male and female Gulf attire.

The dataset includes modules for building clothing ensemble libraries, computing ensemble-specific comfort bands, deriving intersection comfort zones, and evaluating air-movement cooling credits under varying humidity and air-speed conditions. Dedicated scripts generate psychrometric comfort zones for male and female summer ensembles, overlay analyses across multiple ensembles, radar-based robustness comparisons, and validation checks for PMV–PPD implementation consistency.

A main execution script is provided to reproduce the full analysis workflow, and validation scripts are included to verify numerical stability and physical consistency of the results. The compressed archive contains the complete code package required to reproduce all figures and tables reported in the study.
