Birds of the World is a comprehensive ornithological database housing complete life history information for all bird species and families worldwide. It incorporates in-depth scholarly content from four prominent ornithological publications, providing authoritative data on avian ecology, taxonomy, distribution, behavior and other relevant subjects for biologists and bird enthusiasts. The database encompasses information for 11,167 species and 251 families, and integrates observational records from eBird as well as multimedia resources from the Macaulay Library.
