Genomic Epidemiology Links Non-Endemic Coccidioidomycosis to Travel via Phylogeography of Coccidioides spp.. Coccidioides

We investigated the likelihood of travel-related exposure in human coccidioidomycosis cases outside of endemic regions by sequencing a subset of 19 Coccidioides isolates collected during a previous epidemiological investigation, ascertaining the phylogeography, and assigning the likely region of exposure.
