Reflectance spectral data across the VNIR-SWIR (350-2500 nm) of beach sands collected with and ASD spectrometer. The data were collected to understand the mineralogical compositional and brightness differences between the sands from different parts of Australia. The data were used to determine the optimal location to find spectrally flat areas useful for vicarious calibration of optical earth observation sensors.
