Sites of Importance for Nature Conservation

Sites of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINCs) are sites that are of particular importance to wildlife and biodiversity. SINCs receive a high level of protection from development within the planning system. There are three tiers of SINCs: Sites of Metropolitan Importance, Sites of Borough Importance and Sites of Local Importance.自然保护重要地点（Sites of Importance for Nature Conservation，简称SINCs）是对野生动物与生物多样性具有特殊重要意义的地点。此类地点在规划管理体系中针对开发活动受到高标准保护。SINCs分为三个等级：都市重要地点、行政区重要地点及地方重要地点。
