资源简介:
The purpose of this mixed-methods study was to examine the effects of inclusive practices on counselor trainees' social justice attitudes and multicultural counselling competencies. Within the scope of the study, a 10-week training was applied to 26 counselor trainees studying in Türkiye and their attitudes and competencies were measured using pre-test and post-test. Their experiences about the process were also obtained through qualitative interviews. The findings of the study showed that thematic, interactive and interactive inclusive practices increased the participants' cultural sensitivity and social justice attitudes, gained competencies to communicate effectively with people from different cultural backgrounds, and increased their awareness of social justice. It is recommended that inclusive contents should be included in the training processes to increase the trainees’ psychological counselling competencies in this direction and that psychological counsellor trainees should be trained in a way that is based on practice and can serve different individuals.
