La violenza contro le donne. La coscientizzazione e i processi di emancipazione femminile.

Since the time of the painful denunciation of the female condition that Euripides makes Medea utter in the famous speech to women, the main element of the origin of violence seems to be constituted by the fact that the feminine is the symbol of diversity. Woman is the other, the different, the unrecognizable who arouses the desire for annihilation, because she is unknown and ungovernable. Love is replaced by blind resentment and revenge whenever the woman does not correspond to the model that has dominated for centuries and, thus, the word is replaced by the gesture. Pedagogy has the important responsibility of rethinking a gender culture, intersecting theoretical resources with practical ones, redefining objectives and goals to be achieved in the field of training in a clear and conscious perspective of gender mainstreaming.
