Dataset supporting: Weakening of the relationship between nematode suppression and host protection in the Pinus pinaster–Esteya–Bursaphelenchus xylophilus interaction

This dataset contains measurements from a greenhouse experiment assessing the biocontrol potential of Esteya vermicola and E. floridanum against the pinewood nematode (Bursaphelenchus xylophilus) in Pinus pinaster seedlings over twelve weeks. The dataset includes raw and derived variables used in the analysis, including:- weekly symptom severity scores (SI)- stress-adjusted symptom index (ΔSI)- nematode reproduction factor (Rf)- survival metrics- colonization data All variables are fully described in the accompanying README file to ensure reproducibility. Statistical analyses were conducted under an intention-to-treat framework unless otherwise specified, using Jamovi.
